You can try this third-party software to create virtual wireless networks using your computer.
Virtual Router Plus is a tool specifically designed to overcome the problem of Windows 8 users not being able to create a wireless network router from their own PC. In previous versions of Windows, a virtual network could be created using the operating system’s own menus, and other devices could use this network to access the Internet or exchange data with other computers.
In Windows 8, this feature has been eliminated and the use of third-party applications is now mandatory for users who need it frequently. The program’s interface consists of a single page where you can set the name and password you want to give your network and then directly connect your other devices to it. There are of course a few settings options for experienced users.
If you don’t want to bother, you can start your network directly by pressing the Start button. As long as you don’t close the program, your network will be actively available and it will be possible to connect all your devices to each other over the same wireless network.
